Texas Healthy at Home is organized for the purposes of providing or arranging services to facilitate goals and missions common to the Texas Area Agencies on Aging,
Local Mental Health Authorities, Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authorities, Aging and Disability Resources Centers, and these entities’ cognizant agencies.
Such purposes include generating new revenue streams, maximizing efficiencies, and realizing cost savings through collaborative efforts in areas such as contracting with non-traditional payers,
administering such contracts, gathering outcome data, and engaging in quality assurance activities in order to further the purpose of developing, expanding or providing services in the local
community to vulnerable persons including those named above.
The business property, and affairs of Texas Healthy at Home are managed, directed, and controlled, and all powers of Texas Healthy at Home are exercised by or are under the direction of the
Board of Directors, consistent with the Texas Healthy at Home bylaws.
Texas Healthy at Home is a network of community-based and non-profit organizations commited to serving health plans and their high-risk members.
